Oral Pathology Review

An interactive teaching tool developed by

John L. Giunta, BS, DMD, MS

Professor of Oral Pathology

Welcome to this collection of images that serve as a general, not all-inclusive, review of oral pathology.  Originally, the images were collated as a review for examinations for students at Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  They may serve others in the field of dentistry as well.  They cover some of the normal, many of the common and some of the uncommon entities that have appeared on internal and external examinations including the common histopathology and some radiographic interpretation. This interactive program provides an image by case number, with a brief history or comment and a multiple choice question which has only one correct answer.  To see the correct answer and comments on a case, use the answer and comments hyperlink button.  After reading the answer page press the button named back to question page to return to the question page.  Previous case, next case and list of cases buttons appear on the question page to allow navigation to any of those choices.  The case listing with categories of each case is directly below on this page.  Use the scroll bar to navigate.
